Information you share

Contact forms collect your name, email, message, and any organization or event details you provide. Requests for materials also ask what you need and how you plan to use it. A general source, such as Facebook or an event, may be recorded.

Montrey uses this information to respond and make arrangements. Netlify hosts the site, processes forms, and stores submissions. Correspondence and signup notifications are also handled through Montrey’s Gmail account. Netlify may process technical information, including network addresses and request details, to operate the site and prevent spam.

Please leave out sensitive health, financial, or personal information about yourself or others. Your workbook and starter-kit reflections stay with you; you do not need to submit your answers.

The starter kit and email permission

Getting the free Reconnect Starter Kit requires your email address and checking a separate, initially unchecked consent box for occasional connection tips and book updates. We record your email, the permission wording, signup time, and a general source. Records are stored privately through Netlify, with notifications sent to Montrey’s author inbox.

After signup, the kit opens on this website. No automatic welcome email or newsletter sequence is currently sent. Entering an address does not verify ownership of it.

A secure cookie keeps the kit available in your browser for seven days. It contains a random access code, not your email. Blocking this cookie prevents access from staying unlocked.

Withdraw email permission through the preferences button on the kit page or by emailing Montrey. Requesting the kit again does not cancel an earlier opt-out. Future marketing emails will include an unsubscribe option.

Sending an inquiry, requesting materials, scanning a QR code, or buying a book does not subscribe you to updates. We do not sell or rent email lists.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics helps us understand how people find and use the site. It may use cookies and collect pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details, referral sources, and interactions such as link clicks and confirmed inquiries.

We do not intentionally send your name, email, form responses, or consent wording to analytics. We do not use advertising pixels or build advertising profiles. Blocking analytics does not stop you from using the site or sending an inquiry. Google handles this information under its privacy policy.

Your information and choices

We keep inquiries while needed to respond or make arrangements, and review signup records and older correspondence at least yearly. Email Montrey to ask about information you have shared or request access or deletion.

Limited records may be retained to respect an unsubscribe request or meet administrative or legal needs. Service providers have their own backup and retention practices.

Purchases and resources

Amazon handles book purchases under its own policies. An inquiry does not confirm a booking, and a request for materials does not automatically grant permission or access.

See the usage notes for downloads, previews, and press materials. The book and resources support reflection and practical action. They are not therapy, clinical treatment, or a guarantee of results.

Accessibility

The site is designed for keyboard access, readable contrast, clear headings, and small screens. Workbook previews have text versions, and the starter kit includes a web reading version. A complete accessibility certification has not been performed.

If you have trouble using a page, email its name and what went wrong. You do not need to share a disability or medical details.
